Happy to be back at the historic Longue Vue Country Club in Verona to create a sweet floral display for a sweet couple! This historic golf club is one of Pittsburgh’s hidden gems and it was the ideal setting for Kelly and Scott!
The beautiful outdoor ceremony was held on the grounds not far from the main ballroom. Vibrant raspberry petals lined the slate stone aisle. Crisp white chairs arranged in perfect rows added a nice contrast to the surrounding natural greenery. This historic building is a perfect backdrop for any design aesthetic.
We created a design pallet where berry colors meet softer pastels with a touch of gold. A mix of raspberry Kate garden roses, Royal Raspberry Dahlias and peach ranunculus made a perfect color combo. The hues were rich and harmonious!
The bridal bouquet as well as the bridesmaids bouquets had a subtle touch of gold throughout the seeded eucalyptus that complemented the gold ribbon that wrapped the stems.
After the ceremony the reception began. The white linen and bright open floor plan allowed for the centerpiece to truly stand out. We designed a mix of two centerpiece styles to adorn each of the guest tables. A short centerpiece and a taller version to play with the height of the room. The gold chiavari chairs and the floral color pallet was a match made in heaven.
A very special thanks to…
