This intimate gathering was made up of some of the greatest friends a bride-to-be could ask for! Since the bride was recently relocated by her job, the wedding is also being relocated! Her bridesmaids were super sneaky and decided to throw her a surprise bridal shower, while she was in town, with her closest friends and family in attendance. It was held at a private residence and the party continued well into the evening.
Three bridesmaids came to us because they wanted this to be as stress-free, distinctive and secretive as possible. Once they decided on a budget for decor, invitations, food and beverage we came up with a plan that they loved!
Having it at one of their homes saved them from putting money toward venue rentals. A party this size (17 guests) is manageable to host at home!
Starting with the invitations, we designed a tree die cut, gate fold tied together with ribbon. We came up with the name “Under the Oaks”, letting guests know that it was a garden party.
In the invite we incorporated the hanging cafe lights, that hung in the oak trees in the design as well.
We designed colorful floral centerpieces for their tables that doubled as parting gifts!
The weather was perfect for a pillows blankets to relax on. She opened her gifts in comfort!
We provided colorful dinnerware and the food that went on it was provided by the bride’s favorite restaurant.
The dessert and drink bar featured fresh pies, ice cream and sangrias.
String lights and votives made everything glow!
