Big Greek Wedding
It was a beautiful big Greek wedding! Alyssa and Nick came to us for floral design and we’re so happy they did! It was a true pleasure working with this gal!
The larger than life wedding was in need of thirty centerpieces and bridal party floral. Alyssa wanted centerpieces to be made up of airy greens with pops of white and blush blooms. We created a plan that was light and organic that perfectly complemented her bridesmaids blush pink dresses. Locally sourced dahlias in a variety of blush pinks were the design inspiration.
The ceremony took place at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Ambridge. Featuring ornate, gold interior architecture and murals throughout, this church was spectacular!
The bouquets were romantic and airy filled with blush dahlias and pink astilbe. The bridal bouquets were so beautiful with a perfect dahlia front and center.
We created unique corsages including a very special gardenia for Alyssa’s grandmother as well as one for her Koumbara.
The reception followed the ceremony at the Masonic Lodge in West View. The reception hall was grand with a large dance floor to accommodate all the friends and family. The bride and groom wanted a taller trumpet vase centerpiece on each table with a bit of cascading greens.
We used a combination of pink and white hues. The centerpiece was a mix of white hydrangeas and a feather like blush astilbe. Cafe Au Lait dahlias and a mix of eucalyptus greens finished the look. The grand party went on into the wee hours of the night. Another gorgeous event!!
A very special thanks to…
